About us

So began my journey of repairing windows, doors, toilets, drywall, concrete, plumbing, furniture, and so much more. Through this experience I found myself collecting tools I’d only use once, spare parts I’d never use again, and more tapes, glues, and paints than I could ever do anything with. I also found myself increasingly interested in tools, in particular how having the right tool for the right job made everything so much easier. I was so empowered to learn that I could be handy. I started spending more and more time discussing projects of all kinds with others and eventually got to the point where I had helpful advice to offer. 

As I started tackling bigger projects, I found myself spending a lot of time running to the hardware store, collecting items for a project and then forgetting items for a project and running back to the store. I started to realize that if I had everything I needed at once, the project was more efficient and much less frustrating. One day during one of these supply runs the idea for Truck and Tool was born. They say the rest is history, but really, the rest was a lot of work. It still is, but it is truly a labor of love. I find true joy in helping others realize their DIY dreams and make a little money on the unused tools they have laying around.
